With its Social Active Day, the Vienna Insurance Group supports a variety of social initiatives year after year, thus making a valuable contribution to a future worth living in Europe. This is also the case at Vienna Life, where all employees “donate” a day of work for a good cause. In 2017, the “Schnifisschnauf” was born. Since then, Vienna-Life organizes an annual mountain run on the Hensler above Schnifis, Vorarlberg. Thereby families, hobby and professional athletes as well as friends of Vienna-Life conquer a distance of 4.8 kilometers and 680 meters of altitude. In addition, donations are raised during the Schnifisschnauf. We are particularly proud that a new donation record was achieved at the 5th Schnifisschnauf. 15.000 Euro were raised for the good cause! After 5 events, this results in a total donation of over 60,000 euros. At this point we would like to thank all sponsors and participants who have been with us since the beginning. On the one hand, there is a cooperation between Vienna-Life and Donaris Vienna Insurance Group from the Republic of Moldova. This commitment has already been awarded with the G\u00fcnter Geyer Prize for social awareness. Since last year, Donaris and Vienna-Life have been jointly supporting the NGO “The Moldova Project”. The objective of The Moldova Project is to bring hope and joy into the lives of the neediest families in one of the poorest countries in Europe. In 2022, 7,500 euros will benefit children and women who had to flee from the war in Ukraine to Moldova. This year, another 7,500 euros will go to our long-standing cooperation partner, the M\u00e4der school home in Vorarlberg. The Schulheim M\u00e4der is an institution that cares for children and young people with physical and severe multiple disabilities, providing support on an educational, therapeutic and medical level.
